Returns
Returns are accepted within 14 days from the day of arrival, the shipping costs are paid by the returner. Returns do not include custom made products. For a bigger selection and or custom products, please visit althensensors.com or althencontrols.com
Only products originally shipped from Althen will be returned to Althen. Returns should be in the original packaging and in unused conditions, except when the product is defective. Returns are only accepted with a return authorization number (RMA). To obtain a RMA, please fill in the Return Merchandise Authorization form.
Warranty / Guarantee
Althen assures that no products purchased from Althen is materially defective. Under the European Consumer Law the buyer is guaranteed 2-year warranty.
Except as required by law, Althen will not be liable to the Customer for any loss, damage or liability of any kind whatsoever which arises out of the breach of implied warranties. The warranties shall not apply to any defect which arises from improper use, failure to follow the product instructions, or any repair or modification made without the consent of Althen. The Customer acknowledges that it is responsible for ensuring that the products and services it orders are fit for the purposes for which it intends to use them.
The availability of warranties are only subjected to when:
- A claim is written to Althen, prior to the return of any defective product.
- The nature of any claimed defect of the item(s) in question(s) is explained.
- The customer must obtain a return number from Althen.
Where the Customer returns defective products otherwise than in accordance with these provisions, Althen may refuse such products and return them to the Customer at the cost of the Customer.
